FUMC of Trinity reaches out to the world through district and conference benevolences and is actively engaged in local mission projects, providing financial resources and leadership for the following community social service agencies:
The Little House - A local program provided by the UMW whose primary purpose is to provide low cost clothing and household items to anyone in the community.The Little House is open from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each Wednesday and is staffed by church volunteers. Avalon Nursing Home- Trinity FUMC provides prayer and communion to residents the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Church members also volunteer in the nursing home providing hair care, love, and fellowship. Contact person:Church Office (594-3826)
Martin Senior Center - Trinity FUMC members support the senior center. Volunteers organize, support, and work at the center.Homebound seniors receive meals delivered to their doors each weekday.The center is a place for seniors to congregate, have fellowship, play games and eat together. Kairos Prison Ministry - Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc. is the parent organization of a body of ministries addressing the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women and children, to their families and to those who work in the prison environment.Contact person:Norris Lewis (594-3370)
Trinity Hospital Auxillary- Volunteer opportunities include jobs such as record filing or serving as a greeter.Contact persons: Ed Stuckey (594-1776)
Boys and Girls Club - Church members are encouraged to volunteer at the local organization by tutoring, helping with activities, or providing snacks.Contact person:Justin Kiehl (594-0778)
Relay for Life- The local American Cancer Society sponsors an annual fund raiser for research.Members are encouraged to support the relay by participation or financial support. Contact Person: Debbie Barrett (594-3826)

Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry - Trinity FUMC has an ongoing collection of items for the pantry.This organization also offers volunteer opportunities for members.Contact person:Wanda Boyd (594-0400)
The Good Samaritan House - ( a Trinity County non-profit organization)Volunteer opportunities include working 2 1/2 hrs. weekly sorting and hanging donated items.
