After School Program -

- Youth meet each Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 until 6:00.  This after school program has been named “Mission in Action”.  Youth also gather each Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and have named this program “Connect with God”.  Youth participate in chapel time, weekly devotional, and a youth prayer chain.  Students engage in mission work by service at the Burning Hope soup kitchen, the House of Hope, Avalon Place, and by making phone calls and sending cards to our church family to develop Christian social skills for fellowship.  Participants are involved in fund raising so members can attend a Christian Summer Camp.   Youth serve as assistants in Trinity FUMC Vacation Bible School, as greeters for Sunday morning services and present two programs per year.  They are also trained as acolytes for theTraditional Worship Service.  Robbie Danielsen is the Youth Director in charge of Trinity FUMC’s Youth Program.
