The Small Church That Love Built

As we bring to a close the Lenten season, the climax of the season focuses on the Good News.  Jesus went to the cross for us.  We are Easter people, not just one day or week per year, but daily.  Daily we live the Good News that God loved us so much He provided a way to save us from ourselves.

Mark 1:14-15
After John was put in Prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.  "The time has come," he said.  "The kingdom of God is near.  Repent and believe the good news!"

I want to thank everyone who enhanced the Lenten season with your prayers, presence, gifts and service.  Our worship team, our Shepherd groups, our speakers and so many others.  Thank you.

I also want to express my gratitude for a congregation that strives to enjoy the journey of faith as a community, inviting and making a difference together.  This next week is the foundation of who we are as God's children.  Don't take it fro granted, nor miss the events that will refresh and renew your heart.

Maundy Thursday service is Thursday April 1 at 6:00 P.M.

The Good Friday service is a community service at Liberty Christian Church and School across from the Post Office at 7:00 PM April 2.

And remember Easter service is a combined service at 10:30.

Remember to invite someone to church.  A personal invitation is the most powerful tool we have.

It is an honor and privilege to work together with you to proclaim the Good News.

Philippians 1:4-6
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Only by His Grace,
Pastor Russ
